Why come to the Magnetic Birmingham Workshop?
Meet researchers beyond your bubble
We’re bringing together people from physics, chemistry, engineering, medicine — anyone whose work touches on magnetism in some way. It’s a rare chance to have proper conversations across disciplines.
See magnetism in a new light
Whether you're used to thinking about spins, MRI, or magnetic materials, you’ll hear how others approach similar ideas from completely different angles — and come away with fresh perspectives.
Grow your local network
Birmingham’s full of people working on magnetism — this workshop is a chance to find out who they are, what they're up to, and how you might work together. Especially useful if you’re a student or just starting out.
